Feng Shui -- Powerful Tool or a New Age Fad?

June 23, 2004 -- Author and feng shui expert, Kartar Diamond, will discuss her book, Feng Shui for Skeptics, on The Do-It-Yourself Author Show, an Internet radio program hosted by Leisure Talk Radio Network.
Kartar Diamond has over thirteen years of training in classical feng shui and owns her own highly-successful consulting business. Her book, Feng Shui for Skeptics, lays bares many of the myths we’ve come to accept as truth.
Diamond states, “Feng shui is based on the laws of physics, natural cycles, common sense and good design…. We are affected by things we cannot hear, see, smell, touch or taste. And yet, our five senses are very much involved in the experiences of any given environment. We are affected physically, emotionally, socially and even financially by non-obvious forces.”
Diamond cites her concern regarding New Age Feng Shui. “Presently, there is a tremendous amount of misinformation perpetuated in popular feng shui books. They are like fad diet books.”
During Diamond’s interview, she reveals common misconceptions and how to utilize the principles of feng shui in your home or business. Through a series of anecdotes, she explains how even a few simple changes have improved the personal and business fortunes of her clients.
